SBI Eligibility and Types of Bank Exams
Generally, the bank examinations are of the following types :
- A series of Common Written Examinations (CWEs) conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) as a prerequisite for the selection of personnel for Probationary Officer / Management Trainee / Clerk / Specialist Officer posts in 21 Public Sector banks (including BMB & IDBI) and for Officers and Office Assistants in Regional Rural Banks
- Exam conducted by SBI and SBI Associate banks for recruitment to the posts of clerks and officers
- Exam conducted by Private Sector banks for recruitment to the posts of Clerks and officers
- Recruitment by Private banks and PSBs through one year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance(PGDBF) course in Manipal Global Education Services Pvt Ltd. Bangalore (MaGE) and Nitte Education International Pvt Ltd. Greater Noida (NEIPL)
SBI Eligibility for Clerk :
Nationality: Aspirants should be an Indian with valid Residence Certificate.Age limit: Age criterion is set to 18 to 28 years for General candidates and person who belongs to reserved category; they will be shortlisted according to age relaxation as per Govt rules.
Qualification: 12th passed out candidates can join Clerk Exam with minimum 60% with computer diploma. And reserved category will have relaxation in marks – 55% for OBC and near at 50% for SC/ST category. To know more official website is available to answer you.
SBI Eligibility for PO :
As we have discussed earlier regarding PO Syllabus and now we’re going to introduce you with SBI PO Exam Eligibility. SBI conduct PO exam every year and shortlist the applicants to appoint eligible person. Here is quick description for PO Eligibility.Nationality: only Indian can apply
Age Limit: 21-30 years is age criterion set by SBI and although age relaxation is as per govt rules and norms based on category.
Qualification: Aspirants are required to pass out with Graduate degree from approved institute.
Note: distance Study is not applicable for SBI PO.
